Life-size animatronic T-Rex in sleeping posture — 12 m, fully servo-driven
This robotic T-Rex lies on the ground like a resting predator. When visitors approach, the show starts: the head and neck rise from the lying position, the jaw opens with a synchronized dinosaur roar, the head rotates and sweeps left to right, the eyes blink — and when the routine ends, the dinosaur lowers itself back to the ground and holds its sleeping posture.

Motion system

• Head and neck raise from the sleeping position: 0–60°, 1800 W servo motor
• Mouth open and close with built-in dinosaur sound: 1500 W servo motor, range approx. 0–65°
• Head rotation: 1500 W servo motor, approx. ±45°
• Head sweeps left to right: 1800 W servo motor, approx. ±45°
• Eye blinking: 100 W servo motor
• Sequence logic: after all movements finish, the dinosaur lies back down and keeps the sleeping posture

Structure and materials

1. Seamless pipe + carbon steel mechanical structure
2. First-line domestic brand servo motors and gears
3. 3D-printed head with high-density sponge (95% rebound rate)
4. Composite silicone rubber skin
5. Acrylic eyeballs
6. Self-developed professional integrated control box
7. A PC can be connected over the network for remote troubleshooting, and multiple programming methods can be combined for smoother, more flexible operation

 

Work Flow 

1. Mechanical Frame:  Weld the steel frame as per the posture of the design.After welding completes,paint anti-rust on the frame.
2. Modelling: Cover the frame with high-density foam after the movements test.
3. Carving: Professional carving masters have more than 10 years of experience.
They create the perfect dinosaur body proportions  base on  scientific data and the design

4. Painting: Painting master can paint dinosaurs according to customer's requirement. 
5. Final Testing: Each dinosaur will also be continuous operated testing one day before shipping.
6. Packing & Shipping: Bubble bags protect the dinosaurs from any damage ,.
PP film fix the bubble bags. Each dinosaur will be packed carefully and with particular focus on protecting the eyes and mouth.
7. On-site Installation:  We also send engineers to customer's place to install dinosaurs.
